2007 is Malaysia's 50th anniversary of its independence from the British colonial rule, and has also been declared Visit Malaysia Year. So lots of programs have been drawn up for visitors. This is expected to be extended to the following years as Malaysia have no intention of stopping to promote tourism to Malaysia after 2007. So may we extend to you an invitation to visit warm and hospitable Malaysia.
I have frequently passed by what used to be the tallest building in the world, the Petronas Twin Tower, and each time I see busloads of tourists ogle at the beautiful towers and busily snapping photos.
